Newly upholstered in authentic Schumacher linen and indigo velvet Ethan Allen Camille accent chair. Second matching chair is under production and should be available by mid-March.
The chair was completely stripped and reupholstered. New internal padding and fabrics. New seat cushion custom-made for this chair is goose down with a firm foam core. Cushion cover has an invisible zipper closure for easy removal. Antique brass nailhead tacks accent the interior velvet.
The design is unique to this chair, with a lot of thought given to the pattern placement to highlight beauty of the fabric and of the chair frame itself.
Upholstery detail:
The exterior back, armrests and seat deck are done in authentic Schumacher designer linen – a large-scale botanical/Chinoiserie print in tones of indigo, plum, and tan, placed such that the pattern flows across the entire back. The inner back and seat cushion cover are upholstered in a solid sapphire velvet, selected to match the color of the Schumacher fabric and provide visual balance.
Condition:
New Upholstery on a sturdy, original vintage frame. New goose down cushion with the firm foam core insert for stability.
