A pair of vintage French style fauteuil chairs newly upholstered in Scalamandré’s Mallorcan Magical Silk Lampas in Salmon. Our workshop specializes in an antique and vintage seating restoration; these chairs have been fully rebuilt with all new materials (new padding, and cushioning) in our workshop, resulting a like-new never used set of chairs.
Classic Louis XV-style chairs with typical silhouette and generous modern-size proportions. Exposed wood painted gray with gold accents. Cushion, backrest and armrests in Sclamandre floral damask motif, with coordinating Scalamandré striped silk on seat base and reverse back and cushion. Silk has soft coral, rose blush, and champagne tones. Nice thick material with subtle sheen and rich texture.
This set would place well in a traditional, French country, Hollywood Regency, or transitional interiors as accent chairs, bedroom / dressing room seating, or living room armchairs.
